September 5, 2020 - Smokey here. What's with that?

Hard to know when you don’t have news and internet.  I suppose there are a couple of fires in Idaho and Montana that we don’t know about.  I doubt very much that this smoke is coming from the fires in California.  Oh well, hope someone tells us when we need to leave.

Today we scouted other campsites to see if we should leave after the Labor Day weekend and find a different spot. We found a large campground at Seeley Lake would work but  after checking out quite a few spots, we decided to stay put until Tuesday and then head south and east.  If you are familiar with the limitations that trailer life puts on you, we will have been without water, sewer or power (no big deal on that one), for 6 days so we need to get somewhere “civilized.”

Here is where we had lunch.

Tomorrow Russ has promised to go with Ceilidh and I on a little hike. I don’t like going alone.  I am freaked out by all of the signs about “Bear Country” and even though I have bear spray, I’m not really sure I wouldn’t panic and forget how to use it.

Let you know how that goes.  Also, I’m looking for a swimming spot.  The weather here has been in the high 80”s.

Also hoping to see less of the population camping next week.  Too many people.  I know, they deserve it too, I’m just getting weird.
