The truck got fixed today. Another slow day. August 17, 2020
What are these? Two different (I think) plants. Betting they are not edible. Which one of these is not like the other?
Anyways, today was another do nothing day. Russ had to take the truck to Spokane so we could spend another $600 to stay afloat (when will it end chevy?). But we are ready tomorrow to press on up the highway towards Canada, (who will not let us in but screw them anyways we will enjoy our own country).
I bought the Patron to share with my girlfriend who we will get to see tomorrow night!!
Did get a good run in this morning and a shower afterwards. Ceilidh went with me and pooped 4 times but I think it is because I was running and wouldn't stop for her to complete her business. She had to pick up where she left off, when she got far enough ahead. She's a herder and always has to lead the way.
One observation I had today as I was passing through the tent section of this campground was that I remember when we used to camp like that. In a tent, a Coleman stove, heating up water for coffee and to do the dishes. I remember doing that and looking at those who had motor homes and trailers (like us now) scornfully saying to ourselves: "That's not camping!" Well, guess what, I was wrong. It is all relative. Bless them, they are just starting the fun. I hope it lasts as long as it has for us!
See you in Sandpoint!
